Our Team

Jennifer Smith
Jennifer is 21-year resident of Franklin and a mother of three. Her children have only attended Williamson County Schools. Two are currently in high school, and one is a WCS graduate.
Jennifer is a past two-time president of the Hillsboro Elementary and Middle PTO. She also served on the county-wide PTO Leadership Council. This council is made up of county-wide PTO leaders that meet with our school officials monthly and is the communication arm for the county administration to the PTO leaders.
Jennifer is a co-founder of and served on the board of HillsboroTomorrow, a fundraising group that raised over $300,000 for Hillsboro EMS in 2011-2012. Jennifer is also a small business owner operating JLS Designs, a custom window treatment and soft home fashions design firm.

Kim Henke
Kim has lived in Franklin since 2004. She has two children in Williamson County Schools and has been a PTO leader and active school volunteer since 2006. She is from Jackson, Tennessee, where she attended Tennessee public schools K-12. She has an engineering degree from Brown University and works for Wells Fargo Bank.

Sarah Barnard
Sarah is a mother of three and former attorney. She is a graduate of the Boston College Law School and the University of Texas at Austin.

Susan Dury
Susan has two daughters in Williamson County Schools. She has a B.A. in history from Carleton College and a M.Ed. from Vanderbilt University. She and her husband have a farm in the Leipers Fork area, where they raise fruits and vegetables as well as a multitude of barn cats and two beloved and ill-behaved dogs. She was formerly a PTO officer and a volunteer coach for Destination Imagination. She works for the Tennessee Justice Center, a non-profit law firm that serves vulnerable families.
